So I fold a thought up onto itself, Hiding ones that open up the bad ones, Throw the note up on to a shelf, Waiting for dust to cover up the sad ones, There's not enough time to hide Behind to catch up faster, i lose a minute every hour When I forget about the laughter, two becomes three and so on, Days I forget to stay present, and I lose a piece of myself so I'm, becoming something I wasn't, it's not your fault for anything, damage control is useless, A power to confess our friends too obsessed become fiends who are also a nuisance, I was gonna keep my mouth shut, And I will but release the pen, I take my paper out but fuck, too easy to type and hit the send, So I rebelled against my instinct, to tell the truth in code, the victim and the halo ring, throw them out into the cold, if only things were different today, and yesterday and tomorrow, If only I could just get paid, for my troubles and my sorrow, i could use something to help it fade, i don't beg nor do I borrow, throw them in and lose the hole, but they get out because its shallow, so the thoughts i chose that kept me frozen, stuck in one position, have now turned into a premonition, once Desolate with indecision, i've learned to release and let it go, now I listen to my intuition...NJL
